When an emergency is activated from the web portal, all students associated to the school will receive a push notification through their mobile app. This allows the student to select whether they are safe or needs help.
When Okay on the notification is clicked, options for Im Safe and Needs Help will appear.
Clicking Im Safe will mark the student safe in the Im Safe section of the MySchoolID web portal. Likewise, if a student is requesting help or otherwise sends a message from the app, that is received in the Help section of the web portal. (More on these here )
