Handling Student Help Requests

Using the mobile app students can always request assistance even if there is not an active emergency. Using the Help section of your web portal you can review and respond to help requests from students.

Lets take a look at this from both the mobile app and web portal.

As a student:

  1. Open the mobile app and log in
  2. Tap the navigation icon in the upper left Navigation Icon
  3. Tap Help Navigation Pane
  4. This is the Help Desk. All help requests will be listed here. You can tap on a request to pull up the chat log for that request and respond if its still active. Tap Need Help to submit a new request. Help Desk
  5. Type in your message and click Send Message Sent

As a school admin:

  1. Log into your web portal and click Help in the left navigation pane. Navigation - Help
  2. This is the Help List. All students who have submitted requests will be listed here. To respond to a student click that students name to enter their request screen. Help List
  3. Here you will see some general information about the request such as status, location, case number and the message sent by the student. Student Request Screen
  4. To respond, click Create Note. This will open a text box that you can use to respond to the student. Create Note

Students will receive your response in near real-time. This is full 2 way communication allowing you to communicate as much as you need to.
